At its virtual convention on March 3rd, the Sullivan County Democratic Committee unanimously endorsed Ulster County attorneys Kevin R. Bryant and David Gandin for the New York State Supreme Court, 3rd Judicial District.

Mr. Bryant currently serves as Corporation Counsel for the City of Kingston and has practiced law for over 20 years. Mr. Bryant said ‘I’m honored to earn the Sullivan County Democratic Committee’s endorsement for Supreme Court Justice in New York’s 3rd judicial district.  I want to thank their members for taking the time to consider my candidacy, the qualifications and experience I’ll bring to the bench and look forward to sharing that with Sullivan County and the 3rd judicial district voters.’

Mr. Gandin has practiced law since 1995 and currently serves as Principal Court Attorney for the Supreme Court Judge, the Honorable Maria G. Rosa. “I am grateful to the Sullivan County Democrats for their endorsement and support. Along with my experience working in the Supreme Court as Principal Court Attorney for Justice Rosa, I bring to my candidacy a determination to provide equal justice for all, the expertise to justly and effectively adjudicate the wide range of matters that come before the Supreme Court and a commitment to public service.” said Mr. Gandin.

The New York State Public Meeting Laws are intended to ensure that the business of the people is done so that the people know what the issues are, understand the pros and cons of the issues, understand the perspectives of their elected officials, and have the opportunity to make their voices heard.  This means that the voices of our ALL of our elected County legislators have to be heard.  We elected them to represent us, and if they are not at the table, we are not represented in County Government.
