Spring Nature Walk with the Outside Institute – Afternoon Edition

Meet for a group lunch at Forage Pizza (included in the cost of the event) and then join the Outside Institute’s founding Naturalist Laura Chávez Silverman as she leads a walk nearby at the Neversink Unique Area.  You’ll observe, identify and learn about spring ephemerals, wild edibles and local flora, fauna and fungi.

There will be two sessions,10am-12pm and 1:30-3:30pm. Each walk is limited to 15 participants and advance registration is required. 

There is a small parking lot off Cold Spring Road for the Neversink Unique Area. GPS coordinates and driving directions can be found here. 

• Participants should anticipate wet, muddy conditions and dress accordingly.
