The Sullivan County Democratic Committee condemns former President Donald Trump’s meeting with white nationalist and Holocaust denier Nick Fuentes and rapper Kanye West, who has recently made frequent despicable anti-semitic statements. We ask that all Sullivan County residents categorically denounce all hate-motivated acts of bias and repulsive propaganda and encourage an immediate stop to any and all actions intended to divide our community, county, and country.
Our common decency depends upon each and every one of us to proactively confront hate, antisemitism, racial bias and all discrimination.
We ask that you join us in our mission toward building a better, more inclusive Sullivan County. It is incumbent upon those who can shape the future to stand up and denounce any and all hateful rhetoric. It is particularly incumbent on America’s influential to confront and condemn those who are spreading hatred throughout our country. Now is not the time to be silent.
