Fun on the River by Canoe or Kayak July 24th, Rain date July 31st

Enjoy the natural peaceful beauty of the Delaware River and its shores.  Canoe or Kayak from Lordeville back to the Soaring Eagle Campground.

Things to bring

Good river shoes – (they sell river shoes at the campground)
Sunscreen
Water
Lunch — No Glass!!
Fishing poles — NY or PA fishing license needed to fish on the river

Arrive at the campground by 9 am.  Everyone will need to sign a waiver, and pick out life jackets.  Those who are 12 and under are required to wear a PFD.  It is highly recommended that everyone wear one.
Leave the campground by 10am, arriving at Lordeville by 10:30-11 am.
If you want your own watercraft transported, there will be a discounted portage charge of $25.00.
The normal trip time is 4 hours but that depends on the height of the river and how long you stop for lunch.  Everyone will need to be off the river by 6PM.

Tickets are  $50 per person.  A child can be the third person in a canoe at no charge. Click here to purchase a ticket.
